Revolution Vitality Division Palette

Usually, new products come our and I can never get my hands on them. Imagine my happiness when it turned out I could get my hands on this palette! It’s been hailed as a good dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette. Personally, I had heard mixed reviews about that so I didn’t want to spend £43 on that to be disappointed. This £4 offering seemed much more attractive.

Look at those shades! I usually use warm tones so it was nice to be able to use the cooler tones for this look. I started by prepping my eyelids with the conceal and Define in C3 – you can see that in the picture above. It will have a blog post all of its own 🙂

Then I used the white coloured shade in the palette to set the concealer. I started by using the navy blue shade in the crease of my eye and blended it out really thoroughly. What surprised me the most is how well this blended. It’s not as pigmented as some of the other products I have used but I think in this case it is a definate benefit.

After this step, I took the orange and yellow shades on a shading brush and patted them into the inner half of my lid. I am surprised with how well this has lasted throughout the day to be honest. I also went back into the crease and outer V of my eye with the navy colour just to blend it all together. I’m pleased with how it turned out and it was a cool daytime look. You could definitely make it more dramatic by smoking the inner V out with a black or petrol shade and using the mustard colours wet.

I used the gold shimmer shade to highlight my inner corners but the glitter in the shade is quite chunky and I did find this hard to apply.

All in all, I was so pleased with how it turned out and I’ll certainly be experimenting over the coming days and I’ll share those looks with you as well. Below is the daytime look mentioned above.
I’ll be doing my 30 days of me post soon so stay tuned for that! xx
