๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™Jefree Starr Androgyny Palette ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™

All I can say about this is WOW! There is a story behind how I got this pallets. Allow me to elaborate…

This cracker of a picture is the day Sammy (another blogger/blogger – her videos are fab; search Idle Girl on YouTube) got to meet Jeffree Starr and Manny MUA! Now, I’m working on the assumption that you know who these people are but just on case you don’t, they are both YouTubers, Make up artists and generally BIG BIG names in the beauty world. So imagine a collaboration of two supernovas like this…

They teamed up to release a selection of cosmetics, endorsed by the two of them that would be limited edition. To celebrate the launch, BeautyBay managed to arrange 3 exclusive meet and greet dates. Tickets were free but they were on a first come, first served basis and even then, you weren’t guaranteed entry. It was the LONGEST 6 hours of MY life involving a 200 mile round trip, queuing up, travelling through a city I’m not familiar with and holding in a GIGANTIC wee ๐Ÿ˜‚ but as you can see, we were super lucky and we got to meet them! They were so lovely, which was brilliant because rumours are forever circulating about the attitude of these two but I do genuinely think they are jusy rumours.
Anyway! Here is the beautiful Androgyny Palette ๐Ÿ˜

My very battered palette and it’s shade range.

I love that there are only 2 shimmers in this pallets. The shades Safe Word and Charm make beautiful transition colours and Frosting, the golden colour is perfectly blinding for those inner corners or cut crease looks. I personally tend to create more warm toned looks with this palette but as you can see at the bottom there are 3 cooler shades; a khaki, a teal and an indigo. I personally find them so hard to use but I think this is down to my inexperience more than anything.

Below I have inserted some pictures of looks created with the palette:

Warm Tones – using red, orange and copper shades.

Cool Tones – using blue hues

At ยฃ40, it’s not the most affordable but for me, it rivals the Anastasia Beverley Hills Modern Renaissance Palette for quality and the pan size is enormous as you can see on the picture. 10 shades for ยฃ40= ยฃ4 each and I, for one, would NOT begrudge paying that for one shadow.
